WIM is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of its clients by supporting their efforts to resolve their needs. WIM helps them gain access to services relating to food, housing, transportation, employment and other resources necessary to restore independent living, self-sufficiency and stabilization.

It is our vision that through this non-profit, all who need a helping hand in the area of basic human need will find community-wide support to aid in reaching their goals in all aspects of their life. It is our hope that all individuals and families who are at risk of losing housing or other vital basic necessities will be provided emergency food, clothing, shelter, transitional and permanent housing, and supportive services through a collaborative agency structure that effectively coordinates services, shares information, and increases funding to support these efforts.

Walk-In Ministry’s goal is to offer our clients access to a range of programs and services to help mitigate the factors that contribute to urgent financial strain and/or homelessness, ultimately resulting in recovery and self-sufficiency. WIM will utilize solutions-based counseling and community resources to identify issues and develop individualized plans to assist our clients in the communities we serve.
